Becoming a Canon Power Shooter

Blog Update & Aperture

November 14, 2006 · 1 Comment

Well, since I’ve gotten the Canon 30D and haven’t upgraded to the Rebel XTi, I haven’t been focusing much on my Rebel XT. I still really like that camera, but I’ve been so busy developing my wedding photography business and learning what I can about the 30D that I haven’t been keeping with blogging this or other sites.

I want to make time for this project though because there’s so much to share and document.

The world of digital photography has exploded and it’s simply a great time to be a photographer.

My most recent foray has been learning the latest version of Apple’s Aperture program.

Aperture rocks

For power shooters, this is an awesome photo management and processing program. Each day I’m learning something new and developing my workflow using Aperture. Apple really took heed and listened to what digital photographers wanted in this program. While it’s not perfect, I can see it developing and growing as with all of Apple’s programs.

If you’re a Mac user and you have the right hardware, I strongly suggest downloading a trial version of Aperture. You won’t be disappointed.
